Gazumba Games LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile and web versions of Fantasy World Star™ (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.
We do not publicly display your real name or email address.
If you create an account with an email address, we send transactional and service emails: account and security messages (welcome, password reset, purchase receipts, account-deletion confirmations) and gameplay notifications tied to your account state (for example, reminders to finish drafting or to finalize a completed roster, and score digests). You can opt out of non-essential gameplay and reminder emails at any time via the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by emailing contact@gazumbagames.com; essential transactional messages (such as password resets and purchase receipts) are sent as needed to operate your account. We do not sell your email address or use it for third-party marketing.
The App displays advertising served by Google AdMob and, through AdMob mediation, by the following partner ad networks: Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.), AppLovin, Unity Ads (Unity Technologies), Mintegral, and Pangle. These networks may receive your IP address (which may be used to infer your general location), device and advertising identifiers, and ad-interaction data, each subject to its own privacy policy. Rewarded ads are optional and clearly labeled "Advertisement"; the in-game Fantasy Dollars they grant have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or transferred. Where required, we honor opt-outs of personalized advertising and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
The App is intended only for adults 18 years of age and older. You must confirm that you are at least 18 to create an account (age self-attestation); we do not collect a date of birth. Separately, under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — if we learn that we have, we will delete it and terminate the account. For EU/EEA users, we honor the GDPR Article 8 age of digital consent applicable in your Member State (16, or lower where set by national law). If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account. Parents or guardians may contact contact@gazumbagames.com.
We use third-party providers for authentication, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, advertising/mediation, payments, and push notifications. Each processes data under its own privacy policy, which we link from our website.
AI-generated stylized illustrations of public figures are produced server-side using only public, non-biometric inputs. We do not use facial-recognition or biometric data of users or of depicted public figures to generate illustrations.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect (the categories, purposes, and retention periods are described in "Information We Collect" and "Data Retention" above, which together serve as our notice at collection), the Right to Access, the Right to Correct inaccurate personal information, the Right to Delete, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, the Right to Limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of sharing for targeted advertising. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas) may have similar rights, including to opt out of targeted advertising. On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before any cross-app tracking occurs, and we request notification permission before sending push notifications. On Android, we honor the Advertising ID reset and the limit-ad-tracking / "delete advertising ID" settings. You may revoke push-notification permission at any time in your device settings.
Where we make the App available in the EU/EEA or UK, we process personal data under an applicable legal basis (such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests, or consent for personalized advertising) and you may exercise GDPR/UK-GDPR rights, including lodging a complaint with your supervisory authority, by contacting contact@gazumbagames.com.
Any public figure shown in the App, or their authorized representative, may request removal via our opt-out form at /legal/takedown or by emailing contact@gazumbagames.com. Approved requests result in removal from all public lists, scoring, and rosters.
