These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms") govern your use of Fantasy World Star™ (the "App"), operated by Gazumba Games LLC ("Company", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Fantasy World Star is a free-to-play fantasy entertainment game in which users draft and manage fantasy teams of real public figures (heads of state, CEOs, athletes, actors, musicians, and other widely-covered public figures).
Scoring is strictly objective and is derived only from verifiable, publicly reported events and public-attention data (for example: election results, published awards, official sports results, regulatory filings, court filings and verdicts, and the relative public-attention volume of a person across public sources). We do not score rumors, unverified allegations, private medical details, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or other sensitive personal characteristics; events grounded in official or public records (such as court filings or verdicts) are scored only when widely reported by reputable sources. Scores are factual, editorial, and for entertainment only. They are NOT opinions, ratings of character, endorsements, or judgments of any person, and the Company does not assert any subjective claims about any individual.
The App is supported by advertising for free users and an optional in-app purchase that removes mandatory ads. Optional themed content may be offered. Push notifications may be sent when enabled.
The App is intended only for adults 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old; we do not collect a date of birth and rely on this confirmation. Users under 13 are strictly prohibited from creating an account or using the App, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, "COPPA"). If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account, and if the user is under 13 we will also delete associated data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has registered, contact contact@gazumbagames.com.
You may sign in with email, Google, or Apple. Your real name and email address are not publicly displayed; only your chosen username and team name are visible to other users. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You may create fantasy teams and join public or private leagues, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display your chosen username, team name, and league activity within the App. You agree not to use the App to post or create content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or infringing; to harass, threaten, or target any real person; to impersonate any real person; or to suggest any false affiliation or endorsement. If you share screenshots from the App, you must not present them as authorized by any person shown.
All software, AI-generated artwork, scoring systems, and designs in the App are owned by Gazumba Games LLC. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, extract, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App, including any AI-generated artwork.
The App references the names and publicly reported activities of real public figures solely for informational, editorial, and entertainment purposes, consistent with the First Amendment and the newsworthiness/reporting privilege. Profiles are limited to generally-recognized public figures based on objective criteria (for example, elected officials, senior executives of public companies, professional athletes, widely-covered entertainers, or persons with sustained independent news coverage). No individuals under 18 years of age are included as draftable profiles, regardless of public-figure status. Our entity-ingestion pipeline performs an automated date-of-birth check at every entry point (admin-add, bulk import, and AI-assisted enrichment); profiles identified as under 18 are rejected and never added to the catalogue. Any legacy entry subsequently identified as a minor (for example, after a date of birth becomes available) is removed promptly.
Nothing in the App is, or should be understood as, an endorsement, sponsorship, authorization, or affiliation by any person or organization shown. The Company claims no ownership of any individual's name, identity, or persona. The App is not affiliated with, licensed by, or endorsed by any sports league, players' association, guild, political organization, or company whose members may appear.
Data sources and third-party trademarks: public-attention metrics are computed from licensed and publicly available data sources, including the X (Twitter) API (accessed under a paid developer license), Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects (content used under their free licenses, with attribution), and the YouTube Data API (used under its terms of service). "X" and "Twitter" are trademarks of X Corp.; "Wikipedia" is a trademark of the Wikimedia Foundation; "YouTube" is a trademark of Google LLC. These names are used solely to truthfully identify the App's data sources (nominative fair use). The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp., the Wikimedia Foundation, Google LLC, or any other data provider.
Certain images in the App are AI-generated, intentionally stylized illustrations created for editorial and entertainment purposes in connection with news-based gameplay. They are NOT photographs, NOT digital replicas, and NOT authorized likenesses, and we do not represent that any illustration accurately depicts an individual's actual appearance. The App does not allow users to request or upload images intended to recreate a real person's face or body, and we do not create or permit deepfake-style audio or video of any person. Any AI-assisted text describing real people is limited to summarizing already-published facts and is subject to human review. Any depicted individual (or their authorized representative) may request replacement of an illustration with a generic, non-depictive avatar via the opt-out form, and we will honor such requests promptly. Wikimedia Commons photographs, where used, are displayed with author, license, and source attribution (see the in-app Credits page).
We respect post-mortem rights of publicity, including California Civil Code §3344.1, the Tennessee ELVIS Act, and similar laws. We do not display AI-generated portraits of deceased individuals; upon a person's death we replace any AI portrait with a generic, non-depictive avatar. Estates or authorized representatives of deceased persons may request removal using the same opt-out process available to living persons, and we will not include any deceased person in new purchasable content without consent of the authorized estate representative or confirmation that applicable post-mortem rights have expired.
If you are a person shown in the App, or an authorized representative, you may request removal at any time using our opt-out form at /legal/takedown or by emailing contact@gazumbagames.com. We will acknowledge your request within five (5) business days and act on verified requests within fifteen (15) business days. While a request that asserts an illustration resembles you is under review, we may immediately replace the illustration with a generic, non-depictive avatar. Upon reasonable verification of identity or authority, we will remove the profile from drafting lists, scoring, rosters, and display, and will not re-add it unless you request. Requests are reviewed by a human administrator; we may decline requests that do not come from the individual or a verified authorized representative.
Scores and events are generated from third-party and public sources. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and data may be delayed or wrong. We may correct, revise, or reverse scoring at any time to fix errors or reflect updated official information, and we will act promptly to correct any scored event that is credibly shown to be inaccurate. You agree we are not liable for inaccuracies in third-party data.
The App contains advertisements from third-party networks; we do not control third-party ad content. An optional in-app purchase removes mandatory ads and provides no gameplay advantage. In-app purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by, and subject to the refund policies of, the respective store; use the store's "Restore Purchases" mechanism to restore a previous ad-removal purchase on a new device. Watching optional "rewarded" ads to receive in-game Fantasy Dollars is entirely voluntary, and rewarded ads are clearly labeled "Advertisement."
Fantasy Dollars (₣) are virtual in-game points with absolutely no monetary or cash value. They cannot be redeemed, exchanged, withdrawn, cashed out, or transferred, are not property, confer no real-world value, and may be modified, expired, or discontinued at any time without compensation. No purchase is required to use the App.
The App does not offer prizes, money, or anything of real-world value based on performance, and does not facilitate wagering, betting, sweepstakes, or any gambling mechanic. Rankings, points, boosters, and items are for entertainment only. Any private league organized by a commissioner is entirely user-run, and any arrangement among its members is outside the Company's scope and not endorsed or administered by the Company.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total liability to you (the user) for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00). This cap applies only to claims by users who have accepted these Terms and does not purport to limit the rights of any person who is not a party to these Terms. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its members and agents from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with the seat of arbitration in Maryland, USA (hearings may be conducted remotely). Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to prevent irreparable harm. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing contact@gazumbagames.com with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. If twenty-five (25) or more similar arbitration demands are filed by or with the assistance of the same counsel or organization, the parties agree the demands shall be batched and resolved in staged proceedings under the AAA's mass-arbitration procedures. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND THE COMPANY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. This provision does not apply to residents of jurisdictions where such provisions are unenforceable.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or to comply with law.
The App may not be available in all locations. We may restrict access by geography, or remove certain profiles or features in particular jurisdictions, to comply with law and reduce risk.
If you believe content in the App (including a username, team name, or league name) infringes your copyright, send a notice under 17 U.S.C. §512 to our designated agent: Gazumba Games LLC, Attn: DMCA Agent, 5000 Thayer Center Ste C, Oakland, MD 21550, or contact@gazumbagames.com, including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material; (c) your contact information; (d) a good-faith statement; (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. Users whose content is removed may submit a counter-notice with the elements required by §512(g).
If you download the App from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and Gazumba Games LLC only, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support or any warranty; Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal compliance, or IP claims); and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list. If you download the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
